I grew up with Elmo. He was my favorite Sesame Street muppet and this documentary is absolutely wonderful and inspiring. Kevin Clash started out as a poor kid, who became one of the most popular faces in America - or at least he voices one of the most popular faces in America. Watch this! You won't regret the price (BTW, if you have the Netflix app, this is free to watch on there).
